Privacy Policy

When a server administrator configures Modex, we store:

• Discord server ID (Guild ID)
• Discord channel IDs and role IDs used for bot configuration
• Custom settings (automod rules, welcome messages, log channels, etc.)

To provide moderation and logging features, we store:

• Discord user IDs and usernames involved in moderated actions (bans, kicks, warnings, mutes)
• Automod strike records (user ID, server ID, rule triggered)
• Behavior score data (user ID, server ID, score)
• Ticket transcripts (user ID, username, message content within tickets)
• Reminder content created by server administrators

Premium subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We store:

• Stripe Customer ID
• Stripe Subscription ID
• Subscription status and expiration date

We never store credit card numbers or banking details. All payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

• Message content (except within ticket transcripts, which are opt-in per server)
• Voice data
• Private messages (DMs)
• Email addresses (unless you contact us directly)

• Provide and improve Modex's features
• Process Premium subscriptions
• Enforce server moderation rules configured by administrators
• Generate moderation logs for server administrators

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

• Server configuration data: Retained as long as Modex is in your server. Deleted upon request.
• Moderation logs: Retained for the duration of the service or until deleted by a server administrator.
• Payment data: Retained for legal and accounting compliance periods.

• Right of access: Request a copy of data we hold about you.
• Right to erasure: Request deletion of your personal data.
• Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Right to object: Object to processing of your data.

Server Data Deletion: Server administrators can request deletion of all data associated with their server by emailing us with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and their Discord server ID.
